Overall Responsibilities:
Partner with senior user researchers to design, field, and synthesize the results of research studies that have been prioritized.
Ability to lead studies with minimal supervision, including usability testing, surveys, interviews, card sorting, A/B testing, and data analysis.
Partner with UX Designers, Writers, Project Management, Engineering, and Marketing to incorporate cross functional feedback into study designs, and to provide actionable feedback in collaboration with these stakeholders.
Present research findings, working closely with partners to make product recommendations and documenting team learnings in a clear and concise manner.
Mandatory Skills/Qualifications:
5+ years of experience is required.
Ability to plan and execute research projects addressing user problems, and ability to translate research findings into actionable design requirements and articulate tradeoffs among alternative solutions.
Analytical skills to interpret data sets and derive actionable insights from quantitative research methods
Excellent verbal, written, and storytelling communication skills , including communicating research findings in compelling ways to inspire action.
Preferred qualifications:
MA/MS degree in Anthropology, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Human Factors, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field or equivalent practical experience (2+ years of research experience in industry).
Experience with international research, vendor management, ecommerce, and/or phone carriers is a bonus.
