Who we are::

Highland Veterinary Hospital is looking for a veterinarian to join our friendly team as either the Chief of Staff of the clinic, or as an associate. Our tight-knit team maintains an enjoyable and positive work environment committed to high quality veterinary care for companion animals. We are proud of our beautiful recently renovated facility, which is equipped with ultrasound, cool laser therapy, digital x-ray, and in-house lab equipment.
We are excited to announce that our next full-time veterinarian will join us with a $25,000 signing bonus!
Our family-like team and supportive instincts make our practice an ideal place to call your work home. An experienced veterinarian seeking career growth and advancement would find an exciting opportunity to lead the team, either by joining us as the Chief of Staff, or by starting off as an associate with a plan for promotion to Chief of Staff. While experience is preferred, we would happily accept a confident new graduate.
Although none of our current doctors see exotics a doctor with experience in exotics would find a good home here as we have previously seen exotic patients and would be happy to resume that type of caseload again. Our well trained and experienced support staff, which includes 4 licensed veterinary technicians, help appointments flow smoothly offering us a calm work atmosphere. With no on-call or after hours requirements you can find the true meaning of work/life balance with us!
Located in Metro Detroit, the up-and-coming suburb of Highland is located just a short drive from the local attractions and restaurants in Milford, and is not far from the city of Detroit which is experiencing a renaissance of culture and recreation. The broader Detroit Metro area provides plenty of amenities to explore such as shopping, dining, craft breweries, entertainment, hiking trails, and lake activities.
We offer generous salary, 401(k), medical benefits, CE allowance, professional dues and liability coverage. In addition, we also support employee wellbeing with medical benefits (including health, dental, and vision), vacation, employee assistance program (EAP), growth opportunities and so much more.
We are so proud of our practice and would love to tell you about our community-based approach to veterinary care. Apply today!
