Marcum LLP is seeking an experienced individual for its Valuation, Forensic & Litigation Services Group with strong valuation experience to join our national firm in our New England region. This position assists in high net worth marital dissolution situations of all kinds, including high-profile cases involving parties with business and financial ties across a wide range of industries. Marcum is seeking a professional experienced in business valuations of small to middle market companies, forensic accounting, asset tracing, economic income determinations and assisting with expert witness testimony.

Responsibilities Work closely with leaders to manage cases from start to finish.Work with team members to ensure accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and research.Attend mediations and meet with clients, attorneys and opposing experts.Prepare reports that ensure analysis adequately supports conclusions reached.Provide guidance and mentoring to staff to help facilitate staff development.Manage the assignment budget and profitability.Take a lead role in managing engagements and client interactions.Qualifications Demonstrates proven ability to take a project from start to finish with minimal guidance.Demonstrates ability to lead, motivate, develop and coach teams.Demonstrates proven ability to compile and complete reports from start to finish.Strong interpersonal skills and active participation in networking.Strong project management and problem-solving skills.Minimum 5 years of related experience.B.S degree in accounting, finance or economics required.ASA, CFA, CPA or valuation credential required.Qualifications / Requirements Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Must be able to effectively communicate, both orally and in writing, with partners, staff and fellow department members, as well as clients.Demonstrated ability to support projects from inception through completion and willing to work the hours necessary to get the work done, especially with important department deadlines.Skilled in problem-solving and the ability to multi-task several duties at once and prioritize them.The ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.Only applicants of interest will be contacted.
