This role is pivotal in driving the company's top-line revenue goals and involves managing a team of RVPs and RSDs who engage with existing employer clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for the commercial strategy, building and leading the commercial organization, and will be a key voice of the market to the company's leadership. Essential duties include managing the sales process, building strategic relationships at the C-Suite level, and creating a compelling vision for clients. The VP of Client Sales will also be involved in setting and executing strategic plans, monitoring performance metrics, and ensuring the team meets its sales targets.
Applicants for the VP of Client Sales position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, with a Master's degree preferred, and a proven track record of success in sales leadership, particularly with large employers, providers, and healthcare payers. The role requires at least 10 years' of progressive sales leadership experience, including 3 years' in sales management, preferably in a business-to-business environment within the healthcare sector. Experience in selling and marketing in a regulated medical products environment, as well as the ability to work with senior leaders across multiple functions, is essential. The ideal candidate will have strong communication, critical thinking, and analytical skills, and the ability to recruit and retain top sales talent.
