The VP will also be instrumental in coordinating with the Enterprise Risk Management Office to provide expert risk management guidance to both internal and external stakeholders.
Candidates for this VP position should have an undergraduate degree in a mathematical or financial field, with a preference for those holding a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) designation. A strong background in actuarial-related work, with at least ten years of experience, is essential. The role demands extensive knowledge of risk management practices, financial services industry, and excellent communication skills to engage with a variety of audiences. The VP will be at the forefront of developing and maintaining the risk management framework, as well as overseeing the reporting of statutory and risk capital results. Leadership experience is also a key requirement, as the role involves managing a team of direct and possibly indirect reports.
