This strategic leadership role is pivotal in driving talent management projects, policies, and culture to enhance the employee experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and management of all aspects of human resources administration, including risk management, organizational policies, and compliance. They will also lead the organization's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives, working closely with the Senior Leadership team, Board of Directors, and internal DEI committees.
Applicants must have a Master's degree in a related field, a minimum of 10 years of progressive management experience, and relevant HR professional certification. The role requires a deep understanding of employment laws, employee relations, and benefits/compensation, as well as experience with HRIS and Learning Management Systems. The Vice President will be expected to have executive-level financial acumen, experience with third-party accreditations, and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations. Strong communication, conflict resolution, and change management skills are essential. The position is based on-site and may involve up to 40% travel within the company's service territory.
