The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the business growth of Research Chemistry Services in the region, with a focus on driving results from small, mid-sized, and large biopharma companies. This role involves cultivating relationships, identifying opportunities, and leading a US business development team to meet the company's growth aspirations. The VP will also be a key contributor to the design and implementation of the business development strategy, and will work closely with senior leadership to ensure the effective execution of the strategy.
Applicants must have a professional degree in science or pharmaceuticals, with a preference for a M.S. or above, and at least 15 years' experience in a relevant field. Strong scientific expertise, new drug development insight, and a proven track record in leading a team are essential. The role requires a decisive business leader with excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills, who can effectively articulate the business value of the company's services. The VP will be expected to proactively manage key strategic accounts, stay current on competitive strategies, and build strong internal and external relationships to drive business growth.
