The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker, relationship builder, and innovator with a proven track record in IT leadership, business process reengineering, and change management. This role is pivotal in leading the in-market IT teams, delivering exemplary customer service, and ensuring the successful implementation of IT initiatives across the entire hotel portfolio. The VP will also be responsible for owner/franchise relationship management, strategic planning, and continuous improvement, with a focus on associate growth, stakeholder satisfaction, and fiscal responsibility.
Candidates for this role at the company must have an undergraduate degree in technology or business, or equivalent work experience, and at least 12 years' of progressive IT leadership experience. A strong preference is given to those with an MBA, contract management experience, and exceptional project/program management skills. The role requires the ability to influence others at all organizational levels, strong analytical and communication skills, and a proven ability to lead high-performing teams. The VP will be expected to manage a significant budget, travel as needed, and have a solid background in managing IT in a large, complex organization with diverse executive stakeholders.
