The successful candidate will be a key leader with a strong background in advising on complex M&A, acquisitions, joint ventures, and other strategic transactions, as well as securities reporting and corporate governance.
The role involves leading and coordinating due diligence processes, identifying legal risks, and managing external legal counsel. The ideal candidate will have excellent writing, analytical, negotiation, and presentation skills, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to work with cross-functional teams. A passion for technology, public safety, and the mission to protect life is a critical requirement for this role.
This role requires a passionate individual with a JD from an accredited institution, a minimum of 10 years' of experience, and a proven track record in legal expertise within the M&A and securities law space. The VP will be responsible for developing and implementing legal strategies for M&A activities, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, and supporting the company's strategic objectives. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
