The role demands a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry, with a specific emphasis on specialty product launch, and a strong compliance background with OIG and FDA regulations.
The ideal candidate for this VP position at the company will have a BS/BA degree in a business or related discipline, with an advanced degree preferred, and a minimum of 18 years' experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry. Experience in leading and managing a team of market access and distribution professionals is essential, as is a proven track record in US specialty product launch. The role requires a candidate with executive presence, the ability to synthesize data, and a collaborative approach to work effectively across commercial, medical affairs, and with external partners. The VP will be expected to monitor and respond to market access trends, and to ensure that all activities are in compliance with relevant laws and company policies.
