This challenging yet rewarding position involves collaborating with key organizational leaders to establish and refine the outbound sales function. The successful candidate will be responsible for team development, including the design of processes, training materials, and the hiring and training of a small team. A strong focus on customer obsession is essential, as the role requires the VP to ensure the team delivers an excellent client experience, meets and exceeds sales targets, and works to resolve client escalations. The VP will also be expected to lead by example, living the company's core values, and mentor and coach team members to achieve their performance objectives.
Applicants for the VP, New Business Development role at the company should have a minimum of 8 years experience in outbound sales management, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets, preferably in a high-touch client service industry. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required, and experience in a 2-sided marketplace is an asset.
