About the Role The Company is seeking a VP of Accounting and Finance to join their team. This senior role is pivotal in overseeing both personal and operational financial reporting, asset management, and income tax compliance and planning. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial expertise, engaging with various stakeholders including banks, lawyers, and investors, and monitoring the financial performance of a diverse range of assets. Additionally, the role involves developing and maintaining financial statements, establishing budgets, and evaluating and implementing best practices in financial processes.

Applicants for the VP of Accounting and Finance position at the company should have 8-10 years' experience in accounting and finance, with a preference for those who have worked in a family office or real estate/hospitality group. A Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required, with a CPA or advanced degree being preferred. The role demands proficiency in financial analysis, forecasting, and management, as well as a strong knowledge of national and local tax regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, and excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, and be adept at managing a 401K plan and other employee benefits in coordination with the HR manager.
