This key leadership role is focused on developing and implementing strategies that align with the company's mission, fostering growth, and enhancing community engagement. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development of staff, cultivating relationships with referral sources, and driving business development initiatives in new markets and service areas. On an average day, the VP will lead business development efforts for new startups and acquisitions, conduct market research, negotiate with health plans and large referral sources, and manage outreach to establish and nurture relationships with new referral sources.
Applicants for the VP of Business Development position at the company should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic planning, business development, or healthcare sales. The role requires proven expertise in contracting, negotiating, and managing development initiatives, as well as experience in creating and executing sales strategies, advertising campaigns, and public relations efforts. The ideal candidate will be flexible in their work schedule, with the ability to travel 65-70% of the time, and will be dedicated to the values of integrity, trust, excellence, accountability, and mutual respect.
