The successful candidate will be responsible for driving financial analysis and forecasting, managing company-wide budgeting, and overseeing the annual financial audit. Additionally, the VP of Finance will be tasked with treasury and tax planning, maintaining internal financial controls, and working with the leadership team on various projects to boost revenue and operational efficiency.
Applicants for the VP of Finance position at the company should have a minimum of 2 years experience as a VP at a Series C+/$50MM+ revenue startup, with a proven track record in corporate finance, investment banking, and/or management consulting. The role requires a strong leader with at least 7 years of experience and a history of exemplary financial project management. The ideal candidate will have a background in leading significant financial transactions, exceptional skills in financial data analysis, and a talent for translating complex financial information into a clear business narrative. Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, experience with financial monitoring for transaction-based businesses, and the ability to identify and mitigate financial risks are also essential. The VP of Finance will be a key member of the leadership team, with the opportunity to transition to a direct report to the CEO within the first year.
