The successful candidate will be responsible for leading regional origination, with a focus on developing and maintaining relationships with a diverse range of customers, including utilities, commercial, and industrial entities. This role requires a minimum of 8 years of experience in energy origination, with a strong background in structuring, negotiating, and executing contracts in a power marketing role within the renewable sector, particularly with a focus on energy storage. The Vice President of Origination will be at the forefront of identifying and evaluating new business opportunities, as well as developing innovative power sales structures to meet the evolving needs of the market.

Key qualifications for this role include a proven track record of sales within specific US power markets and established relationships with buyers in the industry. The successful candidate will be expected to provide market intelligence feedback, contribute to the company's business plan and development strategy, and work closely with regulatory and policy experts to ensure that the company's strategy is in line with the latest industry changes. A strong working knowledge of US power markets, including ISO, RTO, and bilateral energy markets, is essential. The role demands a strategic thinker with the ability to implement effective customer sales strategies and a passion for the responsible decarbonization of the grid.
