About the Role The Company is seeking a Vice President of Portfolio Operations to join their dynamic team. This key role is focused on driving value creation, operational improvements, and enhancing the effectiveness of boards and management within the portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for working closely with the portfolio support team, deal teams, and management teams of portfolio companies to develop and execute value-creation plans. This includes identifying EBITDA enhancement opportunities, such as strategic growth initiatives, operational improvements, and cost-saving opportunities. The role also involves facilitating strategic planning sessions, assisting in annual business plan development, and demonstrating a results-driven and change management-oriented approach.
Candidates for the Vice President of Portfolio Operations position should have a background in management consulting and/or operations, with a minimum of 8 years' of experience. A generalist industry experience is required, with a focus on business services, industrials, healthcare, and software. The role demands a strong skill set in sales strategy, marketing, revenue enhancement, cost reduction, and organizational effectiveness. An undergraduate technical degree, preferably with a post-graduate MBA, and a proven track record in project and change management are essential. The ideal candidate will be a business athlete with high energy, drive, and the ability to work effectively in a team, with strong communication and influence skills.
