About the Role The Company is seeking a Vice President of Sales to join their dynamic executive leadership team. The successful candidate will be a seasoned sales professional with a proven track record in driving revenue growth, establishing strong client relationships, and leading high-performing sales teams. Responsibilities for this role include developing and executing innovative sales strategies that align with the company's vision and goals, expanding the customer base, and ensuring a strong presence in the finance industry. The VP of Sales will also be tasked with identifying emerging markets, setting sales objectives, implementing national sales programs, and maintaining sales volume and pricing. Managing a sales team to meet and exceed targets is a key aspect, which involves hiring, training, and performance monitoring. Collaboration with the marketing team to capitalize on trends and create effective strategies is essential, as is the ability to report on sales results and adjust strategies as needed.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years' experience in a senior sales leadership role, with a preference for those who have worked in the finance industry. A Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field is preferred. The role requires a strategic leader with strong business acumen, excellent mentoring and coaching skills, and a commitment to customer service. Proficiency in multi-channel sales, prospecting, territory management, and a proven ability to manage a high-performance sales team in a fast-paced, results-driven environment are also necessary. The candidate should be an exceptional communicator, have strong negotiation skills, and be proficient in CRM systems and the Microsoft Office Suite.
