The VP of Sales will also be tasked with achieving and exceeding budget sales and gross margin targets, as well as ensuring that all administrative requirements are met in a timely and accurate manner. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 15 years of sales experience, with at least 5 years in a sales leadership role, and a background in the education industry, particularly in educational furniture or related fields.
Applicants for the Vice President of Sales position at the company should possess a Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, with a Master's degree being preferred. A strong track record in leadership, including growing, hiring, and mentoring a sales force, is essential. The role requires a candidate with experience in selling through distribution partners and OEMs, and the ability to travel extensively, both domestically and internationally.
