About the Role The Company is seeking a Vice President of Sales to lead the US regional sales, branding, business development, and growth strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall sales execution, strategic planning, forecasting, and growth in the US region. This role involves building strong customer relationships, particularly in the educational sector, and partnering with distribution and representative groups. The VP of Sales will also be tasked with growing current and identifying new OEM customers, and must have a proven track record in leadership, including growing, hiring, and mentoring a sales force. The position is 100% remote, with a preference for candidates located in the Midwest region.
Applicants for the Vice President of Sales position at the company must have a Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, with a Master's degree being preferred. A minimum of 15 years of sales experience, with at least 5 years in a sales leadership role, is required. The ideal candidate will have a background in the education industry, particularly in educational furniture or related fields, and experience in selling through distribution and/or manufacturing representatives. Strong executive presence, leadership, and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to travel extensively.
