The successful candidate will be responsible for growing energy sales by providing strategic leadership and coaching to sales managers and team members. This role requires a deep understanding of the energy procurement industry, including deregulated energy markets, contract terms, and pricing strategies. The VP of Sales will work closely with senior leadership to develop and refine sales strategies, foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, and ensure that the sales team is on track to meet and exceed strategic objectives.
Applicants must have a minimum of 8 years experience in building and leading successful sales teams, with a proven track record in energy procurement sales. A keen understanding of both natural gas and electricity procurement is essential. The role demands a leader with strong management and coaching skills, the ability to optimize sales processes, and a data-driven approach to sales performance. The VP of Sales will also be responsible for coordinating with marketing and business development, as well as other members of leadership, to optimize sales performance and ensure the efficient deployment of resources.
