About the Role The Company is seeking a Vice President of Operations to provide operational, financial, and program leadership for its designated locations. The successful candidate will be responsible for P&L accountability, driving key strategic initiatives, and ensuring maximum revenue with effective cost control. This role requires the VP to work closely with multi-unit leaders and location teams, analyzing and establishing strategies to meet company objectives, and maintaining a culture of excellence that prioritizes superior customer service. Full compliance with regulatory standards, and the development of high-performing teams, are also key aspects of the position.
Applicants must have a minimum of ten years' experience in the early childhood education industry, including a background as a multi-unit or regional leader, and hold current or former early childhood director credentials. A degree in early childhood education, primary education, or a related field is strongly preferred. The role demands a leader with a sound business acumen, P&L experience, and a passion for continuous improvement. An entrepreneurial, growth mindset and the ability to lead with energy and visibility are essential. The VP will be expected to be hands-on, maintain clean and safe facilities, and communicate transparently with the owner and leaders, presenting well-thought-out strategies and plans for execution. The position also requires a willingness to travel approximately 60 percent of the time and a Bachelor's degree is a minimum educational requirement.
