About the Role The Company is seeking a Vice President for a private equity business with a focus on building and growing healthy businesses in the US and Europe. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of establishing a new private equity business in the US, actively participating in all aspects of the investment process, from sourcing new opportunities to the post-deal management of portfolio companies. This role requires a hands-on approach to building the US team, managing and developing associates, and working closely with the management teams of portfolio companies to implement and monitor value-creation strategies. The Vice President will also be involved in key strategic, human capital, financial, and operational projects, and must act as a trusted sparring partner for founders and management teams.
Applicants must have a minimum of 4 years' of relevant work experience in a professional environment such as private equity, investment banking, consultancy, or M&A. Experience in entrepreneurship and a passion for investing and value creation are particularly valued. The role demands a candidate with strong analytical abilities, leadership skills, and excellent communication. A Bachelor's degree with outstanding academic performance is required, and an advanced degree is a plus. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of high intelligence, analytical strength, and conceptual ability, as well as the ability to set and communicate high standards, make decisive decisions, and demonstrate a sense of ownership and leadership in line with the company's values.
