The successful candidate will be a key member of the Quality Leadership Team, responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing quality and compliance improvement and remediation strategies. This pivotal role involves leading a high-performance quality culture and team, developing organizational design and governance for quality transformation, and monitoring key performance indicators to ensure the effectiveness of quality and compliance remediation. The VP will also be at the forefront of the Compliance Master Plan, leading cross-functional collaboration and understanding, and will be crucial in ensuring the company's compliance with a range of regulatory standards, including FDA regulations, ISO 13485, CMDR, MDR, MDSAP, and JPAL.
Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in engineering, science, or a related technical discipline, and at least 18 years of experience in a leadership role, with a strong background in highly regulated industries, particularly medical devices and/or pharmaceuticals. The role requires a candidate with strong analytical, writing, and interpersonal skills, as well as a demonstrated knowledge of international and national regulatory standards. The VP will be expected to have a proven track record in cross-functional collaboration, and change management, and a commitment to fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement. The position demands a leader with an enterprise mindset, thought leadership, the ability to drive performance, and a focus on enabling talent within the organization.
