This leadership role is pivotal in directing the revenue cycle management function, which includes authorization, eligibility verification, payor change management, workflow, billing, collections, and denials management. The successful candidate will be responsible for strategic decision-making and financial operations, leading a large team, and ensuring the implementation of processes and technologies to enhance the revenue cycle. Key responsibilities for the VP include developing and managing financial and operational KPIs, driving performance against targets, managing external vendors, and proactively addressing financial risks. The role demands a strong leader with a client service mindset, the ability to influence and collaborate in a matrixed environment, and a proven track record in operational and financial management. Applicants for the Vice President position should have a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, and a minimum of 15 years' professional experience, with a focus on finance operations management, particularly in the home health or hospice sectors. The role requires a leader with a history of significant operational improvement, experience in strategic planning, and a strong background in leading multi-state branch networks. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, and a proven ability to manage programs and projects. A successful track record in vendor management, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders are also essential. The VP will be expected to have a proactive approach to financial risk management and to lead a team that is dedicated to the financial and operational success of the Home Health business.
