The successful candidate will be responsible for developing market and sales strategies for national account growth, coordinating with corporate business development, and ensuring 100% customer satisfaction. This role involves managing customer relationships, expectations, and requirements, as well as budget compliance, department budget development, and forecasting. The VP, Sales will also be directly involved in managing national account pricing, approving contracts, and ensuring the appropriate return on assets for national accounts.
Candidates for the VP, Sales position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree from a four-year college, or 7-10 years of related national sales experience, and 3-5 years of management experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered. The role requires an understanding of corporate profitability goals, expert knowledge of the company's geographic, service, and product capabilities, and database utilization for account profitability analysis. Excellent negotiation, communication, and managerial skills are essential, as is the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of contract law and a combination of industry/organizational knowledge, strategic sales skills, product-level competence, and financial acumen.
