About the Role The Company is seeking a VP of Shared Services to lead and champion a strong operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the team works cohesively and productively to perform daily operational accounting activities, overseeing employee productivity, training, and growth, and fostering a trusting, inclusive, and productive environment. This role involves the identification, development, and implementation of improved processes, as well as the introduction of automated procedures to enhance workflow efficiency. The VP will also partner with senior business leaders and key stakeholders to provide relevant information and metrics that impact daily accounting for the organization, and will be involved in training the customer support organization to simplify and enhance the customer experience.

Applicants for the VP of Shared Services position at the company should possess a Bachelor's degree in accounting, a strong understanding of data analysis, KPIs, and reporting, and a proven background in process improvement and operational guidelines. Experience with performance evaluation metrics and a history of developing budgets and business plans are also beneficial. The role requires a candidate who can ensure compliance with internal and external controls, and may include responsibilities related to SOX compliance. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with excellent communication skills, capable of driving change and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the shared services and operations teams.
