About the Role The Company is seeking a Vice President for its Strategy Team to lead high-priority, fast-paced projects at the forefront of the industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing growth strategies, launching new products, entering new markets, and forming partnerships or acquisitions. This role requires significant collaboration with senior executives and cross-functional business partners, as well as the ability to rotate across various business and functional groups. Key responsibilities include scoping and structuring projects, leading project execution, and developing CEO-level executive communications. The Vice President will also be tasked with developing the strategic priorities for the company and mentoring junior team members.
Applicants for the Vice President position in the Strategy Team should have a minimum of 6 years' experience in roles such as strategy consulting, corporate strategy, startups (FinTechs), investment banking, private equity, venture capital, strategic finance, or similar, with at least 1 year in a team leadership capacity. The role demands a candidate with the ability to structure and scope complex problems, apply analytical tools to develop solutions, and possess strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills. A high level of personal initiative, entrepreneurial leadership, and intellectual curiosity are essential, as is the ability to develop subject matter expertise quickly. An open, collaborative, and team-oriented operating style is also a key requirement, as the position involves working with colleagues at all levels to achieve goals. Advanced skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint are necessary for this role.
