Volunteer - Teen Library Volunteer

The Oak Park Public Library is currently accepting applications for teen volunteers who want to give back to their community by improving the library and assisting with youth programs!

Are you a teen, interested in giving back to your community? Does assisting in the library interest you?

Some examples of opportunities for Teen Library Volunteers are:

Repeat Programming for Youth: Afterschool Reading Buddies (reading to elementary students).

Library Improvement: Contributing in a way that makes the library more appealing, clean, and enjoyable for the community. Tasks include sanitizing the toys in the youth department, cleaning or dusting shelves, straightening materials, taking out recycling, decorating for events/holidays/seasons, assisting with preparations for youth crafts, and other tasks as assigned.
