The Vice President of Workplace is responsible for the growth, strategy and operations of Veeva's worldwide offices and work locations. This leader is focused on supporting the productivity of Veeva's employees and customers around the world. The VP ensures the right type of environment is available for all Veevans to enable them to do their best work, whether in the office or at home, collaborating or working alone. This leader understands the importance of place, and takes pride in creating high quality workplaces that stand the test of time. The VP works with Veeva's global regional presidents and owns the business plan to support Veeva's expansion across North America, EMEA, and Asia.
What You'll Do Create and implement a workplace strategy that embodies our "Work Anywhere" philosophy, ensuring it aligns with our corporate values. Drive this strategy with purpose and intensity. Advocate for the continuous improvement of our work approachOutline a strategy for utilizing different types of workspaces (owned, leased, and shared) in various global locations, including newly established areas, established regional centers, and the main corporate headquarters. Design and support a global approach to centralized lease and budget managementBe the face of the Workplace team across Veeva including leadership. Work with IT, Security, and Employee Success on establishing and evolving construction and maintenance standards and driving projects that help manage Veeva's growthShare and champion the Workplace vision and values and focus on customer service. Make sure facility projects and events match Veeva's culture and values and create a standards guide for them with the teamLead, manage, and push the global team of facilities leaders, office managers, workplace services employees, and porter and culinary staff, upholding a consistently high standard of customer service culture worldwide Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Architecture or equivalent work experience; MBA preferred10+ years of experience in culture-focused strategic leadership roles, including global leadership experienceExperience driving workplace strategy as a key component of company culture, utilizing a multi-lens approach, HR, Marketing, and leadershipKnowledge of general construction project management and engineering in a global setting, including AsiaDemonstrated business strategy and planning experienceProven track record of managing a global budget and team, solid business relationship management, and vendor management skills.
