The Role As an early VP, you will have the unique opportunity to work directly with minware's founders and engineers to build the product and define the company's culture. We are looking for someone who has strong interpersonal skills, high empathy, and a solid understanding of our product domain – software development analytics.
We are seeking an ambitious and nice engineering leader who has experience managing managers on a happy and productive engineering team. As a purveyor of developer productivity software, we are diligent about process efficiency and code quality. Though we are small, we try to avoid unnecessarily creating technical debt and are looking for someone who can lead us toward this goal.
Primary Responsibilities Manage managers and engineers building minware's software. Work with product leaders to define minware's roadmap and product strategy. Have ultimate responsibility for minware's reliability, availability, performance, quality, and security. Oversee minware's software architecture and backlog of quality, technical debt, and other engineering-led improvement areas. Coach managers and engineers to provide career development. Lead hiring strategy and execution for minware's engineering team. Qualifications Previous experience managing other managers building modern full-stack applications, including both application Experience leading DevOps and security functions Experience analyzing and reporting data related to engineering team productivity and delivery Strong communication skills and high empathy for interfacing with non-technical stakeholders and occasionally with customers Well-versed in agile or lean planning and project management processes Start-up experience building an engineering organization from scratch for a B2B SaaS product is highly desired Benefits and Perks Competitive base salary, bonus, and seed-stage equity compensation 100% remote work, flexible hours, and unlimited vacation policy.
