A reputable nonprofit organization in the NYC area is seeking an experienced professional to join their staff as a Vice President and oversee one of their shelters in Brooklyn.
About the Opportunity: Hybrid or Remote: Fully on site Shift/Schedule: Monday-Friday, business hours Setting: Women's Shelter Responsibilities:

The Vice President will be responsible for: Clearly communicate both the organization's and funders' policies, requirements, guidelines, and program performance targets to staff. Communicate with peers in other shelters and external agencies on issues related to client progress and best program practices. Work with all staff to set staff performance targets in accordance with contract requirements. Ensure that all direct and subordinate staff complies with the organization's and funders' polices and rules. Qualifications: 5+years of experience in leadership 7+ years of experience in social services, specifically working with homeless individuals or those suffering from substance abuse Master's degree in relevant field Desired Skills: Experience working with those with chemical dependency Experience working with those with HIV/AIDS
