Warehouse Worker

Summary Description Warehouse workers are responsible for performing the array of duties in a warehouse. These include filling orders, packing and shipping filled orders, and processing incoming stock.
Responsibilities Prepare orders for either pickup or delivery.
Process incoming stock.
Maintain an organized environment that efficiently utilizes available space.
Keep detailed logs of all items sent and delivered and of current inventory by inputting necessary information into a computer, printing requests, and collecting stock location orders.
Report any discrepancies between records and inventory.
Operate warehouse equipment and vehicles.
Meticulously follow safety standards, rules, and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications High school degree or its equivalent.
Familiar with current warehouse procedures.
Able to use inventory software and databases.
Good organizational skills and dependability.
Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
Proof of a forklift license.
