Project Summary:
The City of Oak Park, Michigan is seeking a web consultant, information technology contractor familiar with the Revize web platform to reenergize a paused web renovation process and seeing it through to completion no later than first-quarter 2025. Duties will include working closely with key city staff to conduct a comprehensive inventory of both the new and old website structure and content, streamlining navigation and ease of access, making necessary edits and updates to ensure accuracy and timeliness of the new site and overall project management and back-of-house editing of the site structure and content throughout the transition process as well as troubleshooting and tweaks post rollout for a transition period. Compensation commensurate with education and experience. (Not to exceed $9,950)

Goals & Objectives: Finalize web revamp process Launch new site Streamline structure and ease of access Remove outdated and unnecessary information Trouble shoot rollout for a minimum of two weeks or until initial transition issues are resolved. Existing Conditions: The city originally contracted with Revize Software Systems in Feb. 2022 for a full web redesign. Web content was migrated in Nov. 2023 but never made live. The live site continued to receive updates as needed for daily city operations. As a result, the "new" site remains dormant and is now out of sync/outdated. Project Scope & Deliverables: Working closely with key city staff to conduct a comprehensive inventory of both the new and old website structure and content Streamlining navigation and ease of access Making necessary edits and updates to ensure accuracy and timeliness of the new site Overall project management and back-of-house editing of the site structure and content throughout the transition process Troubleshooting and tweaks post rollout for a transition period.
