The Well Pump Installation Technician is responsible for the installation and repair of water well pumps and related equipment, including water treatment systems. The technician works independently and as part of a team to ensure that all installations are completed on time and to budget, and that they meet all applicable local and state standards and regulations.

Installations are allotted a certain amount of time to complete. These times can be determined by the Lead Well Pump Installation Technician, the outside sales position or the installation manager. Completing the jobs in the time frame allotted requires a willingness to learn and take direction, a solid education and a strong technical skill set, good organizational and good communication and coordination skills. Effectively accomplishing all of the above makes for a successful and profitable project. Weakness in these areas can make the pace feel "fast" and stressful.
