Position Overview: We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Accountant with a focus on Accounts Receivable to join our finance team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of accounts receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, collections, and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
This role is crucial in ensuring the financial health and efficiency of our organization.
Key Responsibilities: Generate, review, and send out invoices to clients in a timely manner.
Monitor and manage overdue accounts, conduct follow-ups, and maintain records of collection activities.
Communicate with clients to resolve billing issues and answer any inquiries related to accounts receivable.
Reconcile accounts receivable balances, ensuring accuracy and completeness of records.
Prepare regular accounts receivable reports for management, highlighting key metrics and any potential issues.
Maintain up-to-date records of all accounts receivable transactions, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless financial operations and resolve any discrepancies.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar accounting role.
Hands-on experience with SAGE 50 is required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and familiarity with accounting software.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
