Accounts Payable Clerk

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing all invoices received for payment and for undertaking the payment of all creditors in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner.
Duties
- Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts payable data
- Prepare bills, invoices, and bank deposits
- Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted
- Verify discrepancies by and resolve clients' billing issues
- Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients
- Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts payable status
Requirements
-Associate degree in Accounting or 2+ years experience in a similar role
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail
- Ability to perform general ledger reconciliation tasks
- Knowledge of accounts payable processes and procedures
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
