Dental Operations Support
responsible of providing operational support to the dental pre-service organizational determination process through multiple activities.
Requirements
One to three years of experience as a Dental Assistant in a dental office
Associate Degree in Dental Assistance
Dental Assistant License in Puerto Rico
Experience with X-ray management
Experience in dental office administration
Dental billing experience
Responsibilities
Responsible for the preparation, scanning and mail return of physical and digital X-Ray in coordination with the Front-end department.
Responsible for the data entry of paper requests in an accurate and timely manner to kick of the triage process toward the organizational determination.
Responsible for monitoring and handling the system incomplete web pre-service requests in a timely manner, including internal troubleshooting with the Technology Unit.
Responsible for the reconciliation of the inbound of pre-service inventory to sign off 100% of the request were loaded in the Benefit Management System accurately and timely.
Responsible for the daily monitoring and handling of multiple system dependency work queues to resolve issues at the triage level such as member eligibility, provider contract, system configuration and provider outreach.
Responsible for following up with multiple internal departments for the prompt resolution of referred requests with issues of eligibility, providers, configuration, among others.
Responsible for contacting and requesting the necessary documentation from providers during the first stage of preservice evaluation.
Responsible for receiving documents from providers through Salesforce, uploaded into the system and assigned to the work queues.
Responsible for the preparation, printing and mailing of manual letters for special cases or requests.
Responsible for communicating to the supervisor any setback that affects the process of inbound, preparation and organizational and determination.
