The Role:
As a field based Assistant Project Engineer Intern, you'll:
Support project managers and field teams by assisting in project documentation, scheduling, and coordination of daily activities. Review project drawings and specifications to ensure alignment with project goals and compliance with industry standards. Track and document project progress, including daily logs, material deliveries, and work completed. Participate in on-site meetings, gaining exposure to real-time problem-solving and decision-making. Assist in the preparation of RFIs (Requests for Information) and submittals to ensure project milestones are met. Contribute to maintaining project safety standards by observing and reporting on-site conditions. Engage with subcontractors and suppliers, supporting procurement and logistics activities. Qualifications: Pursuing a bachelor's degree in building construction management, civil engineering, or a related field. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities with the capability to lead by example. Proactive problem-solving skills and a self-starter mentality. A strong work ethic with dedication to meeting deadlines. Ability to see the big picture while focusing on details. Comfort with technology and a willingness to learn new software.
