Union position - CNA starting rate: $24.39 and NA starting rate: $21.79
Shift differential for shifts starting after 3 pm

Position Summary:
Our compassionate CNAs are key members of our interdisciplinary team that provides care, service, and support to our residents. Our CNAs are responsible for a number of important tasks such as:
Assisting residents to feel and look their best by helping them with getting dressed, bathing, as well as grooming.
Ensuring that they receive needed care/service by proactively communicating with other members of the interdisciplinary team about resident needs.
Helping our residents feel comfortable in their space by giving attention to cleanliness and furniture arrangement.
Supporting residents in pursuing their interests by helping them engage in our life enrichment program.
Sharing your knowledge and expertise with other team members to better serve the residents.
Qualifications for CNAs High school diploma or GED
Current, active CNA Certificate or graduation from a CNA Certification program.
Current First Aid certification
Prior skilled nursing experience and 6 months of experience as a CNA preferred
Qualifications for NAs High school diploma or GED
Experience in geriatrics and caring for residents with cognitive impairment, preferred/not required
Experience as a Nursing Assistant, preferred/not required
Strong service orientation
Physical Requirements
Daily duties include lifting, squatting, bending, reaching, prolonged standing, walking
Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50+ pounds
Ability to stand and/or walk up to 90% of the time
