This position works out of our Lake Forest, IL or Chicago, IL location in the BTS division supporting the Core Diagnostics commercial business.
Join Our Team as an Associate Business Systems Consultant! We're seeking a dynamic professional with a proven track record of brokering contacts between IT and the business, managing/advising on the selection, design, implementation, and business use of commercial information systems. If you are passionate about analyzing complex business processes, have a background in business systems analysis or consulting, and are an effective communicator at all levels, we want you on our team!
What You'll Work On: Develops information systems strategies: works directly with business unit clients to understand specific business processes, needs and opportunities for improvement; identifies IT capabilities required to support the business processes and collaborates in the development of appropriate information management strategies as an integrated part of the business strategy. Business process analysis and requirements engineering: elicits, analyzes, and documents business requirements; translates business requirements into functional requirements; identifies alternative solutions, assesses feasibility, and makes recommendations to leverage new or existing IT technology components. Provide project support and project management: performs data and process modeling; manages change; and leads, coordinates / performs testing, verification, and validation of requirements. Conducts training: partner with product owner to conduct train-the-trainer programs Process Improvements: Identify process disconnects and translate them into improvement opportunities with cost savings or avoidance, productivity improvements, or revenue generating business benefits. Develops productive business and IT relationships to ensure effective communication, successful implementation, and support of project efforts. Manages relationships Required Qualifications Education Level: Bachelors Degree 5+ years experience in related field Strong presentation, written and verbal communication skills, effectively communicates at multiple levels in the organization Ability to work effectively within a team in a fast-paced changing environment Multi-tasks, prioritizes and meets deadlines in timely manner Ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously; workload will be a blend of project sizes Preferred Qualifications
