About the Role The Company is in need of a senior actuary to take on the role of an Associate Vice President, Actuary (Model Steward). The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing actuarial modeling software help desk, ensuring the prompt resolution of technical issues, and coordinating with IT as necessary. This pivotal position involves acting as a Model Steward for various business lines, including Life Traditional, Health Solutions, and Life Structured, by implementing version control for code enhancements, reviewing and approving new models, and supporting modeling initiatives for different cohorts and reporting requirements. Experience in reinsurance accounting, valuation, treaties, and administration is preferred, as the role also encompasses prioritizing and testing model enhancements in these areas.
