About the Role The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President for Trust, Estates, and Gift Tax Valuation. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing business appraisals and valuations, with a primary focus on estate tax planning for closely held businesses, trusts, and family enterprises. This role requires a professional with a strong background in financial valuation, including experience in generating financial models using standard practices such as Discounted Cash Flows and Comparables. The position is remote, and while not mandatory, relocation assistance may be considered. The successful candidate will be joining a leading financial advisory firm with a reputation for excellence and a commitment to providing top-tier services to its clients.


The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree and/or CFA designation preferred, and a minimum of 3 years' of valuation experience, particularly in the context of trust, estates, and gift tax. Applicants for this position at the company should possess excellent writing and presentation skills, as well as a proven track record in preparing and reviewing valuation reports. A stable job history is mandatory, and a background in working with Excel modeling is essential. The role demands a candidate with strong technical skills, including proficiency in Word and PowerPoint, and a background in financial valuation modeling. Professional accreditations such as ASA, CPA, or ABV are a plus.
