Big 4 CPA firms seek audit candidates to join their Financial Service Divisions.
Responsibilities of the position will include:
Developing audit programs and strategies to more effectively handle client issuesPlanning and reviewing audits for clients in hedge funds, private equity, mutual funds, banks, brokerage or insurance industriesSupervising, training and evaluating staffDelegating work to staff and providing an environment that fosters a team approach to auditingReviewing information systemsPerforming agreed upon proceduresReviewing internal controls and making recommendations for improvementsFinancial risk assessmentMaintaining a knowledge of business developments and their effect on your clientReviewing quarterly financial informationDeveloping and maintaining strong client relationsThe right candidate will have the following:
3-10 years recent experience in a CPA firmExperience in hedge funds, broker-dealers, private equity, banks or insurance a mustAbility to manage multiple engagements simultaneouslyAll candidates must be authorized to work for any employer in the US.
