Ayudante de Chofer
Duties:
- Assist the driver in the safe and efficient transportation of goods and materials.
- Load and unload freight using forklifts and other heavy equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, including automotive repairs and inspections.
- Operate various types of commercial vehicles, such as flatbeds, dump trucks, and refrigerated trailers.
- Follow assigned routes and schedules for timely delivery of goods.
- Ensure all necessary paperwork, such as delivery receipts and logbooks, are completed accurately and on time.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Experience operating heavy equipment, such as forklifts or dump trucks.
- Knowledge of manual transmission vehicles.
- Familiarity with route driving and navigating different areas.
- Ability to perform basic automotive repairs and maintenance.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Physical stamina to handle the demands of loading/unloading freight and performing vehicle maintenance.
