**Job Description:**
The Bartender is responsible for preparing drinks in the lounge area according to established standards to ensure outstanding guest service and financial profitability.
**General Responsibilities Include:**
* Maintain a thorough knowledge of menus and promotional items
* Service guests with all food and beverage requirements in an attentive, courteous manner
* Upsell food and beverage items to guests
* Be familiar with the organization of the restaurants, lounges and room service areas
* Accurately maintain financial records and processes including closing checks and dropping money
**Skills/Knowledge Required:**
* Must be a team player
* Knowledge of the practices within the Bar/Food & Beverage/Hospitality profession
**Physical Requirements:**
* Must be able to walk and stand for up to four (4) hours
* Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch
* Must be able to lift, push pull up to 15lbs. on a continuous basis
**Experience:** Minimum of 2 years Bar/Bartending experience, preferably in an Upscale outlet or, luxury/boutique hotel or similar experience.
**Licenses or Certificates:** ABC, TIPS, Food Handlers
