The ideal candidate will have a background in science, particularly within an academic research setting, and a deep commitment to the mission of the Foundation. This role is pivotal in providing strategic direction, approving budgets, and ensuring the Foundation's activities align with its mission of promoting research in chemistry and life sciences. The successful candidate will be expected to have a nuanced understanding of scientific research, a high level of integrity, and the ability to work effectively in a team to make consensus decisions.
