Branch Manager-Guaynabo Branch
Summary:
Responsible for guiding and managing Branch by providing quality service to members in account transactions, loan application and member services. Keep abreast of changes in the industry and respond to changes in a way that maintains competitiveness. Serves as a primary liaison and contact for the credit union existing and prospective members and maintains all facets of the relationship. Performs supervision duties as properly required. Follow and apply policies and procedures for the branch, according to credit union general policies and by-laws.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain a highly motivated, well-trained staff; sustaining effective employee relations to perform as expected or exceed, according to organizational goals and standards.
Assures that workstations are adequately staffed to handle service on a timely basis and that employees are trained to serve members on all credit union products and services, and cross-selling.
Manage and/or recommend purchases of equipment and/or supplies for the Branch.
Researches and solve complex member inquiries or complaints to ensure proper follow-up and member satisfaction.
Ensures that all credit union members and employees business relations are kept in strict confidentiality.
Perform applicable loan interviews, analysis, processing, approval and/or disbursements, when needed.
Manages all credit union members and employees with positive and cooperative attitude.
Contact prospective members to present information on the products and services of the credit union. Constantly looks for business opportunities.
Keeps a visible presence in the local community and sponsor community; promote the credit union through visible participation in business, community, charitable organizations and activities.
Train, evaluate, direct, schedule and supervise applicable personnel to ensure the highest level of quality service to members.
Recommend, implement and supervise the budget for the Branch.
Manage the security and safety of the Branch, by analyzing and monitoring security and safety procedures on an ongoing basis.
Ensure that the branch is in compliance with federal and state laws and regulations set by regulatory agencies.
Monitor work of all branch personnel to ensure the highest level of quality service to members.
Attends meetings as required and complete, summits and maintain reports/records on assigned areas of responsibility.
Actively, consistently and professionally cross sells
Caribe Federal Credit Union
products and services and meets the cross-selling goals as assigned.
Keeps informed on company policies and procedures affecting job duties and responsibilities and complies with by-laws and regulations affecting the organization.
Completes and maintains all related reports and records as required by the organization, and attends meetings as required.
Participates in education, Coaching and/or training activities as needed.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Is responsible for direction, coordination and evaluation of sales and services executives, branch operations, and for coordination with support services units.
Participates in hiring and training processes.
Responsibilities include planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
