Provide comfort and caring as a certified nurse's aide at NYP-keeping our fast-paced environments running smoothly. Provide compassionate patient focus and perform select care duties under the supervision of a registered nurse. Improve the patient experience and maintain a safe, clean and healthy environment. Measure and record temperatures, pulses, respiration and blood pressure. Demonstrate what it means to be part of a team and raise the bar for patient careFloat to all units-in the hospital such as - Med-Surg- Critical Care-Psychiatry- Emergency Department or where needed.There are multiple shifts (day-7:30am-4pm- evening 3:3pm-midnight-nights 11:45pm-7:45am) 3 shifts per week- weekends - at Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. Preferred Criteria•Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of experience as a nurse's aide in a hospital.Required Criteria•High school diploma or GED•Certification from an approved, accredited Nurse Assistant training program OR Currently enrolled in a BSN program for nursing, at the junior year level or had completed at least one clinical practicum •Current BLS Training from the American Heart Association•Excellent communication and customer service skills•Basic computer skillsJoin a healthcare system where employee engagement is at an all-time high.
