Meet Gallerie Bar and Bistro, integrated within Hilton Columbus Downtown, offers classic Midwest fare, available all day long. Visit us for any meal of the day! Breakfast is served in our atrium area, while lunch, mid-day snacks, dinner, and drinks are offered in our bar area.

What will I be doing?

A Buffet Attendant is responsible for Setting up, maintaining, and breaking down buffet or food bar. This task is to be handled in a friendly, courteous, helpful, timely and professional manner resulting in a very high level of guest satisfaction. Specifically, you would be responsible for the following:

Replenish needed food and supplies by retrieving items from the kitchen and storerooms to ensure adequate food amounts are always maintained. Set up buffet food bar as instructed by manager through verbal and/or written communication. Recommend and describe buffet items to guests using a clear and pleasant speaking voice. Visually check station before, during and after shift for proper set-up, cleanliness and aesthetically appealing presentation of food bar Lift and place trays of food into the buffet bar efficiently and quietly and according to safety standards.
