General Description
:
The Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing and providing financial and statistical insights on business results, clients trends and channel usage. Will also analyze financial performance against key business metrics and document pertinent financial highlights that will enable management to determine progress against budget and business goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

:Analyze monthly business line financial results to understand net income drivers,help identify issues and propose solutions.
:Monitor and forecast Retail Deposits portfolio to explain main variances and identify trends of products and clients behaviors.
:Explain significant variances in revenues and expenses to Comptroller Division.
:Prepare the Retail Banking Group budget to prepare and monitor business statistics, including PR and VI Regions.
:Establish business goals and provide monthly monitoring reports to ensure goal accomplishments.
:Monitor, analyze, and provide explanations of monthly accounting entries in SAP Logon, EPM, and other financial systems.
:Support Divisions units in the annual business planning andpresentations to senior management summarizing results and trends.
:Manage, provide insight and support business unit profitability models (Deposit Products, debit card usage, etc.).
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This Job has no supervisory responsibilities but in special circumstances may lead the work of others.
Education
:Bachelors degreein Business Administration with a major in Accounting, Finance or in System Information; or Statistics.
Experience
:At least three years related experience in two of the following: business analysis, budgeting process, and monitoring, profitability, or data management.

:Experienced in the use of Office 365 tools (Power BI, Sharepoint, Teams, etc)
:Expertise using data managing tools such as Excel, Power Pivot, SAS, Cognos, and Power BI.
